A Little About Our Family
This is the latest family picture we have had taken.  There is just one problem.  Everyone is not there.  All the siblings are there, but some of their spouses and children were not able to be at Brittany & Blake's wedding in April, 2007.  Missing are Larry, Jarom, Javan & Joryn Au, and Cliff & Abby Yerkes. 
We (my husband, Max and I) are the proud parents of 10 children and 15 grandchildren.  We have been happily married for 40 years.  We raised our children on a farm in Eastern Washington.  We have had a wild and crazy life of all the ups downs, tears and joys of raising a family of this size. 

Our last child graduated from high school in the spring of 2004.  She went off to college, and is now engaged, so dad and I are foot-loose and fancy free.  I sound kind of flip about it, but we miss her very, very much, and we especially miss the hustle and bustle of what a house full of children and teenagers bring.  We are satisfying our need for having family around by spending time with our married children and enjoying the grandchildren.  After spending Christmas and a couple of months with our daughters and their families who live in Wenatchee, Washington and Laie, Hawaii, we are settling in Payson, Utah with our oldest son, Troy, and his family. 

Following is a little bit about each child and their respective families.

Our oldest child, Kim, lives with her family in Laie, Hawaii.  Laie is a beautiful small town located on Oahu, up on the North Shore in the "country".  Her husband, Larry works as a guidance councelor in a middle school, and Kim is a stay-at-home mom who teaches grades K-12 for an on-line school over the internet--Christa McAuliffe Academy (CMA).  She is also the mentor trainer for this school. She has students all over the world. (Our last three children graduated from CMA.)   This family is very busy trying to keep up with the various activities of the children who are involved in all kinds of things like soccor, basketball, etc. etc. etc.!

Left:  Troy, our oldest son lives with his wife, Norma and their four children in Payson, Utah.  Troy is the Manager of the installation department for Install Pro, who install Dish Network.   Norma is a stay at home mom who is very busy keeping up with the kids and their activities.  This active family consists of Alexis 10, Jayden 7, Isaac 5 & Levi 3 months. Here he is getting aquainted with his older brothers and sister.
Right:  Our next child is Angie.  She and her husband Dan live in Wenatchee, Washington.  Dan is with Verizon Wireless in the customer service department.  Angie is a full-time wife and mother chashing around her very active 3 year old son, Christopher and caring for their new baby daughter, Cierra, born 4 May 2006. 
Right:  Next comes Sarina.  She lives with her husband, Cliff Yerkes and four children in Guilford, Connecticut.  Cliff is a high school Spanish teacher and coach of Soccor, Basketball and LaCross. Sarina is a stay at home mom.  She keeps busy with their four darling children Abby, 7, Cade, 4 and Tyler 2 1/2 and Hallie, 8 mo. This is their 2007 trip to Disney World.
Marnae & Clint Carter on their wedding day.  They were and are blissfully happy and doing the things alot of young couples do, working and going to school.
This is where it all began, back in 1966.  We have had a wonderful life raising this family, and we are looking forward to many, many more years enjoying the fruits of our labors. 
Disclaimer:  I told the kids if they didn't send in their own autobiography I wouldn't be responsible for their embarrasment.  Do I look scared?????
Christopher is our angel baby.  He was born 2 Feb 1969 and passed away 15 April 1971, shortly after this picture was taken.  We always remember him as a member of our family, even though his oldest sister is the only one who remembers him.  He passed away before the other children were born.

This is the most recent pictures I have of the "bachelor boys".  Only their not all bachelors any more, only two of them remain single.  This was taken on Marnae's wedding day, July 15, 2006 with Troy, married, Jason, married, Shawn & Justin, both very eligible bachelors.
This happy couple is our youngest child, Brittany and her new Husband, Blake Tuckett.  They were married April 28, 2007
